Karolina Bejmert
Hi I’m Karolina Bejmert, 16 years old and seeking adventure. I am very excited to start this journey with all these amazing people on the team. A few things you should know about me to start with are that I am bilingual, I speak fluent Polish, I love the outdoors, and enjoy painting. Also, I play a few different sports including rowing, volleyball, flag football, and ultimate frisbee. I strive to do my best at everything that I do and make my life memorable. Going on this mission trips will help me do just that.
I wish to be a physiotherapist when I am older, and want to go to university in Australia. I have big plans for my future but being a teenager with little money and having to wait until I am “old enough” for certain things, I have not been able to do a lot. Traveling is one of the things I dream of doing when I am older. I am already developing plans to travel to Europe and Poland with my boyfriend when we graduate. Going on this trip will give me a the chance to start this dream of mine and teach me a few life lessons on the way. I am glad to be going on this trip with already a few of my good friends and a few of my favorite teachers, which I thank for the opportunity to be on this team, and hopefully I make some new friends, make new memories, and open my eyes to the world.

Logan Elliot
To start off, my name is Logan Elliott and I was born on February 7th, 2000 (making me nearly sixteen years old at the time of writing this). I grew up in Barrie, but after Grade 7 I moved to the Turks and Caicos Islands with my mom. There, I picked up a few interests/hobbies that I continue to enjoy including photography, debate, environmental conservation and wakeboarding. I moved back just in time to start Grade 10 here at St. Pete’s and am so far having blast! I’ve picked up volleyball again, got interested in football, and am now part of the Ecuador team. I’d like to thank my parents and extended family for all the support I know I’ll get from them over the coming year and a bit, and I look forward to making them proud. During this experience, I hope to learn more about Ecuador’s culture and the challenges that some of those who live there face. While I’m there, I want to be immersed in the culture and be able to live like the people there do so that I can gain an even better appreciation for all the luxuries that we may take for granted here in Canada.
